Electric Vehicle Charging Station Program

May contain: tire, automobile, vehicle, car, transportation, wheel, machine, spoke, alloy wheel, and car wheel

This incentive-based program aims to encourage local entities within the Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District (AVAQMD) to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations that provide public access to EV charging. Ideal projects incorporate commercial-grade charging equipment capable of simultaneously servicing at least two or more electric vehicles.

Eligible site types include retail centers, multi-unit dwellings, workplaces, hospitals, public transit stations, and park-and-ride locations.

Approved projects may receive reimbursement for 50% to 75% of total eligible costs—including infrastructure, charging equipment, and installation. The final funding amount is determined based on specific qualifying criteria approved by the District Board.
